NoxParr born Stalmore Duncan Junior is no stranger to hard work. His desire, drive and dedication have aided him in a continuous and on going journeys to achieve success in the rap industry and abroad. Among his many accomplishments Nox juggles the responsibilities of being the lead artist, chief executive of operations and founder of Reservoir Doggz Entertainment. The young entrepreneur first started pursuing his rap career at the early age of 13. Participating in numerous rap competitions and M.C. battles on the streets of New York, he quickly gained street credibility for his original flows and catchy punch lines. ::
Since then, the Bronx native has been strategically plotting an entrance into raps elite. The harsh realities of inner city life were before him, and in a place with little hope and an excessive amount of anguish only the strong survive. Gang affiliations, the drug game and a stubborn sense of pride almost ended the promising career that lied before young Nox. "I was on some wild shit, robbing niggas, hustling trying to make ends meet," Nox reminisces "I ain’t never claim to be no gangster, thug, psycho, killer ass nigga but I did me, I did what needed to be done." After years of struggling in New York, his mother purchased a home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and begged that he escape the fast paced life he was leading to start anew. Nox accredits the move to the position he is in today, stating that the time away from New York gave him time to focus on his music career. :: After going from studio to studio Nox decided in early 2003 to build his own studio and lay the foundation for the entertainment company, which before then was just an idea on paper. NoxParr released his first mix tape, "The Introduction," in late 2004. The 20 track cd was widely accepted in the underground rap scene, his lyrical versatility and unmistakable charisma shined through on his freshman disc. His second coming mix tape "The Re-Introduction," is rapidly proving that the street praise of its successor was no fluke. ::
NoxParr is currently working on a compilation mix tape, his next solo mix tape and a full fledge solo album all being released under his own independent record label. The now 22-year-old rapper has his eyes on the prize and is spear heading to the forefront of the rap genre. This epic saga is just beginning, the poise, persistence and undeniable talent of NoxParr will force Hip Hop lovers to marvel at his abilities.
